Pelee Island Shiraz – 2011

Pelee Island Wine

A review of Pelee Island Shiraz wine, paired with a murder mystery party game from Shot In The Dark Mysteries

The first sip began with the fruity taste of sweet plum with a surprisingly mischievous, peppery kick and a dangerously comfortable finish. We enjoyed this Shiraz with a homemade, wonderfully garlicy roast, potatoes and roasted vegetables.

Pair it with:

A Flapper Murder at the 1920’s Speakeasy. This little Shiraz is sweet and spicy, just like the Flappers of the 20’s! It pairs well with the devilishly foxy atmosphere of a Roaring 1920’s Speakeasy, and will have the Shiraz drinkers in your Half Moon Club kicking up their heels and dancing the Charleston.

The Santa Strangling. The slightly naughty peppery flavour aligns nicely with how naughty the suspects of The Santa Strangling have been!
